Built by someone who
ships WordPress every day.

FasterThemes exists because its founder needed these themes first. 47 themes on WordPress.org, built one at a time for real businesses running on real deadlines.

The honest version

Santosh Singh started Ommune in 2010 and began taking WordPress work on Freelancer.com. He stayed among the platform's top-ranked WordPress developers for seven consecutive years — several hundred client projects, most of them themes and custom builds for founders who needed a site that loaded fast and didn't fall over.

Along the way he was building his own ventures — Cabsules, TourTripX and VedicPupil — and co-founded UnlistedZone. Every one of them needed a theme. Not a demo that looked good in a screenshot. A theme that would survive real traffic, real forms, and real Core Web Vitals scores on a real business.

So he built them himself. One at a time, for his own sites, under his own deadlines.

The question that started FasterThemes was simple: if these themes are good enough for my own businesses, why aren't they in front of every other founder building the same thing?

The first theme went up on WordPress.org in January 2014. There are 47 now.

What we learned the hard way

Page builders ate the world. Themes got heavier every year to compete on feature lists. Then Core Web Vitals arrived and exposed all of it.

Running our own businesses on our own themes meant we felt that directly — in bounce rates and lead volume, not in a Lighthouse tab. That's the difference between building themes as a product and building them as a dependency.

In 2026 we rebuilt the shop. Every theme is being rewritten for sub-second LCP, mobile-first layout, and zero page-builder dependencies. Same brand, same WordPress.org presence, same support.

No yearly renewals. Ever.

The most predatory practice in the theme business is the annual renewal: you pay once, and a year later your "lifetime updates" stop unless you pay again.

$39 once. Unlimited domains. Lifetime updates. If we ever change this, existing customers are grandfathered in.

The person behind it

Santosh Singh

Founder · Lucknow, India

I've been shipping WordPress since before Gutenberg, before Full Site Editing, before anyone was measuring LCP. I built FasterThemes because I was tired of buying themes that looked great in demos and ran like treacle in production.

Every theme here is running on a site I own, or one I built for a client. That's the only filter that matters. If it's slow, I fix it. If the design is off, I rebuild it.
